Photography has its past, its “now” and its future. The past of Photography is film, analogue and darkroom printing. The “now” is digital Photography and I am asking myself: how will the future of Photography look like? To answer this question, I created a digital darkroom by capturing the light data from London using digital devices and print this data onto photographic paper without the use of a camera. I did this through a process I call ‘Digital Photogram’ and, to me, this is the future of photography.
In total, there are over 300 prints created using ‘Digital Photogram’ since 2017 named ’London Light Research’.
